      Dan Robertson was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA. He is part of a musical family and music has always been a big part of his life. Dan's mother was responsible for some of his first musical memories.Trips with her in the car consisted of listening to early Beatles' recordings.
At age 6, he received his first set of drums, after a family friend convinced his father to purchase a set from a local pawnshop. A few months later, Dan's brother bought his first guitar. It didn't take too long before the two were playing songs together. Over the years, the two have been involved in several groups together and apart, as well as collaborating in the studio on various projects.
In May 2007, Dan stepped in as replacement Drummer for Ashes of Babylon as has been timekeeper ever since. In August 2009, Dan relocated to San Marcos, TX with his wife and daughter, so the rest of AoB packed up and moved to central Texas to keep the family together.
