(vocals, guitar, baritone)
On a warm spring morning in May of 1985 in Waycross, Georgia at precisely 7:00 AM, Corey Saucier was delivered into the world. Little did he know at that time (or anyone else around him) that he would one day go on to form one of the most popular reggae acts to ever have come from Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
Sulphur, Louisiana, to be more precise, is the city where Corey would spend his entire childhood. He enjoyed participation in many musical activites for both church and school. It was there that he realized that a gift for music and a passion to succeed would drive his ambitions for years and years to come. In 2002 at the age of 17, he moved to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands and nearly immediately fell in love with reggae music. It was there that Corey met fellow AoB member Jacob Crenshaw after attending private school with Jacob's youngest brother Jeremy. The three began jamming and rehearsing more and more regularly, which led to Corey's first taste of the stage outside of a church or a school.
After St. Croix, Corey moved back to Georgia in January of 2006 to reunite with the Crenshaw brothers and to do a quick stint at Columbus State University studying music education. Corey realized instantly that he much preferred performing to studying and other scholarly duties. "It really sucked," he recalled. In May of that same year, Corey decided to move back to Sulphur and would then immediately put the plans in place to lay the foundation of AoB. He first called on his cousin Beau Guidry, who happened to be jamming with Eric Daigle at the time under the name of, "The Brothers Whirly."
Corey then called on his old buddies Max Sprigg and Sammy P. Chapman to supply some of their "lip service." And with that, AoB was formed and has been Corey's primary focus ever since.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, eating sandwiches, and practicing the reciting of his "ABC's" backwards (just in case). He is also an avid sports follower and conneisseur of popsicles and other frozen dessert treats. He also enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Heather and raising their family (Three dogs, four cats, and somehow, one rat).
